Everything you need to know about using MyDashboard.

Getting started

Sign in with Google or your email and password to access your dashboard. Free accounts work immediately — widgets load right away and settings are saved to your browser. Upgrade to Pro to unlock all widgets, sync your settings across devices, and access all themes.

The header

Add Widget button
Opens the widget picker. Browse available widget types, select one, and it drops into your grid. Free plan shows which widgets require Pro.

Themes (Choose Vibe)
Opens the theme panel. Free plan includes two presets (Light and Dark). Pro unlocks all 16 presets plus fine-tuned background, accent, and top bar color controls.
Account menu
Shows your Google profile photo (or a person icon). Click to access Help, Billing, Privacy, and Sign Out.

Managing widgets

Add a widget
Click the + button. Choose a widget type. Free plan supports up to 5 widgets (Stocks, Weather, News, Scores). Pro supports up to 20 widgets and all 12 types.

Move a widget
Click and drag the widget's title bar to reposition it anywhere on the grid. Other widgets shift to accommodate.

Resize a widget
Drag the handle in the bottom-right corner of any widget to make it taller or wider.

Remove a widget
Click the ✕ button in the top-right corner of the widget. The widget and its position are removed immediately.

Reset layout
Open the gear menu (⚙) and click Reset Layout. This snaps all widgets back to their default auto-arranged positions without removing them.

RSS headlines from pre-defined sources. Click Change to switch sources.

50+ sources with search, category filter, and article count control. Supports custom RSS URLs.

Stocks
Live stock quotes. Add or remove tickers; click any row for a price chart and recent news.

Weather
Multi-day forecast. Add cities by name; drag to reorder.

Scores
Live scores for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and more. Switch leagues with the League button.

News for any pro or college team. Pick from 200+ teams or search by name. Add up to 3.

Your Google Calendar in agenda view. Requires Google sign-in.

Analog clocks for multiple cities. Add cities by name; drag to reorder.

News feed options

Both news widget types display a feed of recent headlines with thumbnails and summaries.

News feeds are cached for up to 4 hours. If a feed looks stale, removing and re-adding the widget will force a fresh fetch.

Themes

Click the gear icon (⚙) in the header to open the theme panel. Free plan includes the Default Light and Default Dark presets. Pro unlocks all 16 presets and manual color controls for the background, accent, and top bar.

Cloud sync

On Pro, your widget layout, widget choices, theme, stock tickers, weather cities, and clock cities all save to the cloud automatically. Changes take effect immediately — there's no save button. Settings sync across all devices where you sign in with the same account.

On Free, everything is saved to your browser's localStorage. Settings persist on the same device but reset if you clear your browser data or use a different device.

Setting MyDashboard as your new tab

The easiest way is to install the Chrome Extension — it opens your dashboard on every new tab automatically. Alternatively, bookmark the dashboard URL and use a browser extension:
